The 247 NY Race Range is built for that specific day. Technical DNA mesh, anti-chafe construction and a vintage-washed finish, carrying the tougher than pain lock-up across every piece.
Built for Miles
The NYC collection runs off of our performance technology, signature DNA mesh, lightweight and breathable, with anti-bacterial and wicking finishes across the tee, long sleeve, tank, singlet, short and half tight.
The construction is where the distance gets respected. The singlet is bonded through the seams, armholes and necklines, so there is nothing sitting proud against the skin over four hours of repetition. Shaped back armholes keep the arms free. On the tees, self-fabric underarm gussets are finished with three-thread flatlock stitching, which is the difference between finishing comfortable and finishing raw.
FORWARD SIDE SEAMS
Seams moved forward, off the line the arm travels, with flatlock gussets under it. Distraction free over the distance
COLD DYE WASH
Dyed cold from the inside, so the highs and lows fall differently on every piece. No two come out the same.
BONDED ARMHOLES
No stitching at the armhole or neckline. Nothing sitting proud against the skin at mile 20.
NEW YORK SHAKEOUT
Two days before the race, we are running anyway.
Friday 30 October, 8am. A 5km through the city, hosted with Kane Footwear and Edith's Sandwich Counter, led by Team 247's Matt Johnson and Hercules Nicolaou.
It is a meet-up as much as a run. Turn up, do five kilometres through New York, eat a sandwich afterwards.
Two practical things. There is no bag drop, so travel light. And RSVP is essential.
