247 has never made a football boot. This is the first. The PUMA x 247 ULTRA NITRO™ 7 ULTIMATE FG takes PUMA's fastest silhouette and runs it through the 247 design lens, with Liverpool and Netherlands forward Cody Gakpo fronting the campaign. Live 9th September.
The PUMA partnership started with performance running where the collections were aimed at people who train more than they talk about training.
Football was always sitting there waiting. Represent has circled the game for years, from the Champions collection earlier this year to the way British football culture keeps surfacing in the mainline, and the link between the two companies runs deeper than product.

Gakpo has been a PUMA athlete for years, and the campaign puts him at the front of 247's move into this new category. Fast player, fast boot. The casting does most of the explaining.
The ULTRA NITRO™ 7 is a serious speed boot before anyone touches it. PUMA built the engine. 247 handled the rest, from the colourway and proportion down to the soleplate detailing and the insole graphic Gakpo holds up in the campaign shots. This isn't a badge on a stock boot. 247 has never set out to copy what already exists in performance footwear, and that thinking sits at the centre of the boot.
